We had a great opportunity to make an animated video clip for Warszawskie Combo Taneczne - band, led by Jan Młynarski, which decided to save pre-war Warsaw songs from falling into oblivion.
Songs which were mainly heard on the streets, courtyards and dancing parties,
recorded now in modern tone and close to original arrangements.
Along with Maciej Buchwald, who wrote a script and directed the clip, we decided to tell the story by using old tattoo motifs and more modern approach to classical animation. The great thing was that we had got complete creative freedom given by the band, which let us make this piece in quite short time but still giving us a lot of fun during the process.
The titles and logo are made by Grzegorz Jarzynowski.
